Senator Andy Zay, currently the elected State Senator for District 17, representing Huntington, Wabash, and Grant counties.
In the state Senate, Zay is a member of the following Senate Committees: Environmental, Pensions and Labor, and Utilities and Commerce Committee.
Senator Zay and his wife, Cindy, were both born and raised in Huntington, Indiana. Cindy started her career with First Federal Savings Bank 40 years ago as a teller and now serves as the Vice-President of Mortgage.
Zay and his wife raised their five children, Joe, Corinne, Rees, Meredith, and Isaac, in Huntington County. The Zay family enjoys being outdoors, spending time together, and participating in sports.
In addition to his duties in the part-time legislature, the Senator manages Zay Leasing & Rentals Inc., a third-generation, family-owned and operated business since 1953.
Andy is running for State Senate because Hoosier families deserve strong representation at home. In the State Senate, Andy will work to cut taxes, support small businesses, and continue standing up for Hoosier values.

Andy Zay leads his family business and serves as President of the Indiana Independent Car Dealers Association. As someone who has signed both sides of a check, Zay understands the struggles of job creators and workers alike. Andy Zay is a fiscal conservative who will continue to work tirelessly on behalf of taxpayers in the State Senate.

Andy Zay is a longtime community and church leader in Huntington and across Northeast Indiana. His commitment to leadership in our region has earned him recognition from Huntington Catholic Schools and Parkview Huntington YMCA. Andy Zay loves serving others and is honored to continue serving our community in the State Senate.

Senator Zay and his wife, Cindy, are proud parents to five children. Zay is active in his kids’ school and is a regional Junior Achievement leader. That’s why he’s 100% pro-life and continues fighting to end human trafficking. In the State Senate, Senator Zay will always put Hoosier families first.
